If we don’t add sufficient value then our customers will not
a) Use us again.
b) Recommend us to anyone else.
Design and space planning
Ascertain the customers requirements, audit their existing stock, produce a plan which creates a best fit within the criteria of current legislation, agree the plan, source the products which offer best value, produce a quotation which is easy to understand and includes all the elements required to finalise the order.
Administration
Obtain official authorization from the customer that the plan and quotation can be actioned, order goods from manufacturers, process the order through the computer system.
Logistics
Ensure that the manufacturers deliver according to an agreed timetable, create secure warehousing space for the order, communicate with the customer to agree that the installation date agreed at time of order is still correct, plan the delivery to ensure that staffing is correct, liase with traffic authorities if required, plan the most efficient route.
Installation
Book in, find the right person, agree a plan of action, understand the customers Health & Safety requirements, be courteous, follow the plan, clear up as you go, level desks, check locks and moving parts, ensure the customer is aware of any problems, agree any remedial work in writing.
Follow up
Ensure any remedial works are effected as soon as possible and that the customer is aware of what we are doing.
